Well, yes... I have four babies. Four four-legged babies. All are rescues. Cassius was my first. He was found at the shelter in san diego. Kirby is my second baby. He was found at ARF ( Animal Rescue Fresno) Reina was rescued by my boyfriend. Very sad story with a happy ending. Bella- was rescued from a southern cal shelter. She was very abused. Fearful. Defeated. I saw her pic on FB & had to save her. In the end-- she rescued me. I love her dearly.

kimberlyraeinc @tinyturtle thank u! As we speak she is laying her head on my thigh as i type this. Lol she is the comeback kid! I want to put out a full-page story in LA times and address it to the owner and sheleter and say my peace! Ha maybe one day. *wink* she was supposed to be put to sleep. Thanks again!

kimberlyraeinc @bohojess thats awesome. I do have a rescue group on FB. I started rescuing just to save dogs. Oh my heart has hurt many times over the scenarios i have seen and heard about. Keep doing what you do!! They only have us as their voice! Is your shelter a,"no-kill?"

bohojess Hi! Yes, I work at a no kill shelter. I couldn't handle volunteering at a kill shelter. I'm the crazy lady who will stop traffic to pick up a stray dog on the street. Thank you for what you do!!

j_marsik I have an american bulldog and a red nose pitbull pound puppy I adopted a few years ago. I love dogs, but have a special place in my heart for bully breeds! Your babies are precious!! 🐶💟🐾

kimberlyraeinc @j_marsik thats awesome. My first experience with a pitbull was a neighors. He was severly neglected and he tore down my fence with his teeth. Long story but he was such a gentle giant. He loved me and he loved spending time in my yard. They are NOT the reputation that has been placed upon them. I rescued my pittie from a shelter in so cal. She was severly abused and it took a lot of work to heal her. :) she is a special girl and i love her to pieces. All of my dogs are special of course. Good for u in rescuing dogs
