"My suicide Gun" Large 36inch x 24inch This piece was given to me to sell by ghost himself 2018, ghost called me and asked me if I would like to help sell some of his paintings, being that I became friendly with him through my fashion week connections. I do fashion and ghost is pure art. When I asked about the gun piece, it wasn't really his niche, he brushed me off and said it wasn't for sale and put it in the back of his art studios closet. Almost a year went by and ghost was selling out shows and running out of paintings. I asked again about the gun painting. After hounding ghost for about 5 hours this is what he told me. "I have suffered with terrible depression and anxiety and panic attacks. For years, It is getting worse, the medicines that used to work, don't. The therapy that used to work, stopped. I was awake for over 50 hours staring at this blank canvas, I purposely depleted all my dopamine and let myself tumble. I wanted to see if my rock bottom would appear. It didn't. After hour 48, a gun started to materialize and I knew once I painted it, I could end it. I painted what I saw and passed out around hour 54. I was able to bend the barrel, twist the trigger, and give it life, hoping when it was done, it would end mine" -ghost The painting was given to me after I forced ghost to take it on tour with him for a while. It is the straightest lined hand painted painting I have ever seen.
