I'm a California transplant to a tiny Oklahoma town in between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. I own a small art studio called Wildheart art and photo studio here. I teach art to teens, and adults, I create custom furniture at home decor pieces, and I also like my artwork. I have written three books on art that you can find on Amazon or eBay under the name Tera Leigh. I am probably passed well-known a present for my pet portraits. scarletsecrets Wow, I love your work. You are an amazing artist. I do some oil painting as well, but since moving from Hawaii back to California, I don't have a painting spot in my house yet. I set out to do a flower, or landscape, or....... but always end up with an ethnic female portrait. Do u have a Facebook page with more of your stuff? Mine is Scarlet Rose. Great closet also.

myomaris @teraleigh64 yes absolutely, I don't have much practice. I do good enough to get by haha but I love your art. I used to sell on Etsy hand painted nursery letters and decor but I had to close shop because it was a lot of work , more than I expected .. I was juggling school and other responsibilities and then trying to keep the Etsy shop open but it was too much. Anyways, I love anything arts and crafts❤️ and home decor

teraleigh64 @myomaris The great thing about Art is that most of it is muscle memory, so even if you don't do it for a while, when you go back to it – it comes back pretty quickly.

teraleigh64 @myomaris yes, I didn't pick up a paintbrush for five years, and it took me about a month to get back to the same level of competence that I was before I quit. That's because your brain remembers what your muscles did, so you pick it up much faster when you come back to it. You don't have to completely re-learn it.
