Mystery Puzzle

This puzzle was a lot of un with a new twist! You read the short story to get clues on what the puzzle looks like. I do have the complete puzzle pictured but you don’t have to keep that picture. I located the missing piece, it’s now complete. I added a picture of the missing piece.
