NAPCO 1959 Vintage Christmas Boy Salt and Pepper Shakers, Little Boys in Pyjamas on Christmas Eve, Cute Red Long Johns, NAPCO, Made in Japan
This is a vintage salt and pepper shaker set, in the shape of boys waiting for Christmas!
Made in Japan during the late 1950s for
NAPCO, these charming boys were crafted from a light weight ceramic and hand painted. Wearing festive red pyjamas and striped nightcaps, each boy holds a tiny candle in one hand. I get the feeling they've snuck out of bed on Christmas Eve, trying to catch Santa in the act! **Note, both have three holes, but I assume since they are different one is considered the salt and one the pepper**
• Please see all photographs and
video as they are considered to be part of the description.
Condition: These shakers are in excellent!
There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or any other damage that I could find. The red cold paint is almost completely intact, which I think is a bit of a Christmas miracle considering their age! Both have their stoppers, and they each still have their original NAPCO foil stickers. They've also been stamped "CX3780C ©NAPCO 1959"
Size: Each shaker measures 2" across, is about 1¾" wide, and stands 3¾" tall.
