This Antiquarian HC book edition of NATIONS OF THE WORLD - PRESCOTT'S PERU VOL 1 has a grading scale of good to an acceptable condition, or good condition. The front - back cover will show extensive color fading & discoloration The back cover has discoloration blotches, possibly from liquid damage. The spine region shows color fading & minor liquid splatter damage. The title heading here is a debossed imprint, & filled in with a gold tone color. The front-back covers has a cloth-like look, with a texture feel The top/bottom corners of the front/back covers at the center fore edges show dented-ding corners, with chaffed-scuff-tearing corners. The top edges have a darker brown color, this is part of the book. The bottom & center fore edges show moderate browning, & some tiny foxing. All pages are intact & in good condition, with moderate browning & some tiny foxing. The binding on some pages at 194 - 195 is showing the stitch binding, but intact, page 242, at the top corner has ripped, but included. Both front-back cover paste downs are connected, & in good condition, there’s a pencil etched mark at the back cover pastedown. The top-bottom cloth edge binding is showing. However, minor liquid glue will fuse these together. This is an antique HC book dating back, circa 1900 or MCM, as seen in the copyright page of this book. Author: WILLIAM H.
