The new commission structure penalizes any sale under $15. I found this out with at $9 sale today. I have listed my lower priced items all at $15. Look for the real price in the text . Please bundle lower priced items together or with higher priced items to make at least $15 and make it work for both of us. I hope this isn't too confusing 😳 I have also made an effort to pre bundle items that make sense for $15, but I am flexible if you need me to change listings around 😍

This new structure is no good! First the high shipping... Now the fees on commission... Sounds a lot like eBay to me! 😒

I think they should do 10% commission on everything and I do like the flat $5 for all orders. This will increase sells because as a seller we have to increase our price to get what we want out of it. It's becoming a eBay

@krisd ... I just re-read the changes... PM takes a commission of a flat rate of $2.95 for anything under $15 , and the seller keeps the difference!

@atienhaara right, so under the old system, if you sold something for $10, they would take 20% or $2, and you would make $8. Under the new system they take $2.95, and you make $7.05. Or on something for $3, you would only make 5 cents.

I agree with every comment that states the only two viable options--in my opinion: bundle or list items at $15.00 or more.
I hope that Poshmark makes changes in the future.
I marked everything up for the buyers who may not want to bundle or who buy directly (without any correspondence).

I agree and am working on re-doing some of the items that I have in my closet under $15. The things I haven't gotten to yet I have changed the status to "not for sale" by clicking EDIT and choosing that option.

I think they are doing this to discourage trading because they don't make any money on trades. I think they are trying to elevate the merchandise people list in their closets. I think they originally started the app as a way to get rid of your high priced designer goods. It's still a business and all we can do is comply or leave. I'm staying, I love the things I've purchased here and am glad my things have gone to good homes! Happy Poshing!

@susanzar12 $15 is ok because they will take at $3 commission. When it is below $15, that is where you get ripped off. If I have something in the $1,000s it is so someone will not buy the lower priced item, and has to communicate with me to bundle. I would say half of my sales have been made without any prior communication and I want to avoid selling anything for I set $15, so I can bundle my lower priced items together to teach $15, or bundle with higher priced items. Does that make sense?

I asked Poshmark what their suggestion was for lower price items...they say to mark items under a certain amount, I picked $8 and mark them not for sale and in comments say that this item must be bundled. It's worked out pretty well doing that way and with it marked not for sale someone can't come in and purchase it without you changing it to available.
