It looks like a place where the gold strap didn’t get cut properly during production at the factory. The strap is detachable and removable so it could be replaced, if someone was bothered by it. However, it’s not very noticeable, IMO, but I wanted to disclose it. (See last pic) Thanks for stopping by my closet. Bundle and save!
