Is the strap removable? And is it a chain strap?

@blizgmm Hi. Yes, it’s a chain strap. It’s not removable in the traditional sense; however, the chain could potentially be cut from the hardware and replaced with something else. The strap loop hardware attaches to the bag so cutting off the chain would leave the loop for a new strap intact. I added another photo to the listing to give you a better idea of how the strap is attached to the bag.
