NEW L'Atelier French Letterpress Art Print White Rabbit Alice in Wonderland

This print was crafted on a barge south of Paris. The inks were mixed by hand and printed on exceptional papers with a Heidelberg press from the 1950s. This allows for a beautiful relief (depth). Each copy is unique and is slightly different from the others. This print is entitled White Rabbit With A Trumpet which was created from an original engraving of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll - drawn by John Tenniel for the first edition of 1865. This drawing has been meticulously restored to show all its delicacy and authenticity. It comes with a quote in French in bright neon orange ( "Le Lapin Blanc sonna trois fois de sa trompette, déroula la parchemin, et lut ce qui suit..." ) which translates to " The White Rabbit blew his trumpet three times, unrolled the parchment, and read the following..." . Print is ready for an A3 frame with a matte OR an A4 Frame. Print dimensions are 8.27 in. (21 cm) x 11.81 in. (30 cm).
