NEW Radio Shack Pocket Radio 12-829 AM/FM Tuning and Controls: Tuning Buttons: Use the + and - buttons to tune the radio or set the time. BAND Button: Press to toggle between AM and FM bands. MEMORY Button: Store radio stations into one of ten preset locations. PRESET Button: Cycle through stations stored in memory. VOLUME Buttons: Adjust the volume. LOCK Switch: Slide to ON to secure settings and prevent accidental changes. DBBS Switch: Turn Dynamic Bass Boost (DBBS) on or off. Installing Batteries: The radio requires two AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment by pushing the cover in the direction of the arrow. Insert the batteries as indicated by the polarity markings. Replace the cover. Setting the Time: Turn off the radio by pressing the POWER button. Press and hold CLOCK ADJUST until the hour digits flash. Use the e or d buttons to set the desired hour. Press CLOCK ADJUST to save. Repeat the process for minutes. Storing Stations in Memory: Tune to the desired station. Press MEMORY, then use e or d to select a memory location. Press MEMORY again to save the station.
