The yarns are made of a durable ply by a neighbouring spinning mill in Aberdeenshire. The very loose, completely seamless knit is surprisingly light. The fabric is then roughened and compacted by means of natural thistle teasels to create a sporty casual Shetland sweater. The ribbed cuffs ensure a good fit of the warming, yet breathable sweater.
