The 1953 Eldorado was one of three limited edition convertibles produced by General Motors that year, along with the Buick Skylark and the Oldsmobile Fiesta. The Eldorado featured a new, lowered wraparound windshield, leather upholstery, wire wheels and a convertible top that was concealed when lowered. The limited edition Eldorado was the most expensive Cadillac on the market, nearly twice as much as the regular convertible.
