I’m thinking of returning them to the website, and it seems they have a pair that ‘looks’ gold, but they don’t state it in the copy. It’s a different shade of the same embossed leather, but I thought it was worth a shot. poshkatt2 @poshgal4eva Absolutely, box is included, so they'll be mailed together. Def try on some Milanos if you have a shop in your area. You may find you enjoy the secure feel of the strap. I love wearing Milanos when I'm doing long days in the city - I appreciate the added comfort of the strap as I enter my 8th or 9th hour of extended walking! I collect quite a bit & enjoy them all, but lately Shearling Milanos and Shearling Tokios are on frequent rotation. Uber comfy! Tks for stopping by.

poshkatt2 @natalie_n_rubio Hi, Natalie. These are the standard Birkenstock “narrow”, which is truly a misnomer since Birkenstock does not make an actual narrow shoe, if that’s what you’re seeking. I’ve never understood why they label them narrow, as the Birkenstock narrow is actually the equivalent to US women’s medium. Alternatively, their “regular/wide” is by no means a regular fit… It is decidedly wide!

poshkatt2 @natalie_n_rubio if you are a Birkenstock wearer then you already know how they fit. If you’re unfamiliar with them, simply understand that their regular/wide is very, very wide. If you have an medium foot and most of your footwear is medium, then you’d be a narrow in Birkenstock and these would work for you.

poshkatt2 @natalie_n_rubio Lastly, regarding the inside fit, these are a reliable standard European size 40. I wear a 40 in absolutely every shoe under the sun (again if that’s any help!) If you know your European shoe size you can’t go wrong, as Birkenstock never waivers with their sizing. Some people do like to go one size smaller in Birkenstocks but I would never suggest going one size larger.

poshkatt2 @natalie_n_rubio I just checked and stand corrected on one thing…with my latest arrival I did get a size 39 for the first time - the Cannes. They’re also a back buckle model. So you’re safe going down one size OR up one size IF you have a back buckle. (but definitely not with the Arizona or Gizeh) I have a pair of black Cannes in 40 and a pair of ivory in 39. I like them both but I am partial to the black.
