The pictures look bright red but these wedges are more of a dark, deep rose. Not quite a espadrille, though these do have jute trim all around the side bottoms. havasue @dreambags Sorry for the delay in responding. I wear a 7.5 and the box marked 7 fits me fine. I believe the EU38 is actually a 7.5. It's what I normally get if there isn't an EU 7.5. I hope this helps.
