You see the beadwork and sequins on this Gatsby stunner? I bought this dress at Loehmann's in 1987. I undressed in front of 33 strangers for this dress. I am ever regretful that I didn't hold on to her. So if you see her, tell her I miss her. Big shout out to Dano, my prom date. You were a gentleman.

Haha its an epic photo. I found all my old prom/homecoming dresses at my folks' house a few months back and they're posted for sale in my closet but I wish I could find the actual pics of me wearing them way back when! I should go look for them. That would be hysterical, though none of my dates had a cool name like yours!

😁😁 OMG too amazing. I so love reading your postings and musings-but this one is the best so far. Awesome dress-and love your hair ala Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink. My prom dress was a hideous mess of black satin and lace. Think old lady Madonna attire. Or the dress that Jaime Lee Curtis wears in True Lies. Yeah. Ruffles and puff sleeves. 😝 I need to post a "blast from the past" pic as my will trade for only this listing. Brilliant!

I do too! To think I hated being a redhead-now that I am getting more <ahem> grays its looking a little faded....so yes I feel your pain when it comes to upkeep. Have you tried the Pureology red line? Its so nice. I use the shampoo and the color enhance conditioning pack thingies. Super shiny hair!

This is too funny and somewhat sad. You've made me think about my absolutely gorg prom dress that was beaded all over the entire dress. I actually sold it to someone on her for her to wear to a wedding in Italy. After she bought it I cried at my moms house bc I regretted selling it. It was Unbelievable and can never be replaced.
