I’ve worn many hats, been married over 30 years, am a mom, had a ton of careers, owned an art gallery and a theatre, and painted street art for the city of San Diego. Now I’m retired, but I’ve found my passion in re-designing second hand hats. I also occasionally work with wildlife expert Joan Embery. My fashion muses; Ann Demeulemeester, Junya Watanabe & R13. Start with a chalk sketch, then just go for it! You can paint over it if you don’t like it. Try using paint pens for detail work. Give it a shot!
