NOS 70s Vintage Vietnam Black Leather Boondocker Chukka Combat Boots 7 Addison

A rare example of military surplus footwear that has remained essentially pristine. Made in the United States, likely in the 60s or 70s during the Vietnam war, from black leather with a subtly contrasting suede tongue, nylon laces, and a rugged nonslip sole. These chukka style ankle boots were colloquially known as boondockers, and have been imitated by countless designers in the years since their initial production. In near perfect vintage condition - there is one split in the leather on the back heel, but otherwise the leather outer and soles show virtually no signs of wear. All these need is some conditioning and a good polish and they’re ready for action. Marked mens size 7.
