NEFB FIRST EDITION Josefina Montoya Doll.
She was really hard to part with, but I have two of her and would love for someone else to treasure her as a part of their collection. Up for grabs is a FIRST EDITION Josefina Montoya Doll. She is NRFB. All original. Marked Pleasent Company. I turned her head as best as I could to get a photo, but I will not remove her.
This is the very first Pleasent Company version of Josefina with shoe variation #1. Many are unaware, but Josefina's shoes went through a few changes over the years. The very first version, which is pictured here. It is VERY VERY hard to find these moccasins still intact. Brown soft leather moccasins that lace up and tie in the front. The laces were originally a leather string, but due to the nature of the material it was not very play friendly. They were changed into a more shoelace-like string. Her moccasins were originally real leather and were changed to faux leather by 2005. These are the 100% leather version with the leather laces as well. SUPER RARE.
Her undies do appear to have some sort of discoloration spot from age and being in her box all these years.
She is STUNNING!
Included is her "Meet Josefina" Book in Hardcover, which is also hard to find. There is a small tear on the botton of the jacket (shown in photos)

Does the tag on her outfit have a year?
Thank you.

@hbonser_02 hi there! I added some more photos for you. Josefina's dress never had the tags marked with a year. I actually have two of them (one since I was a kid). If you're looking for the very first edition this one is the first one released in 1997. PC had problems with the moccasin shoes falling apart with the leather laces. You will see the second round of them had a very thick more boot lace, the leather was also a bit lighter. The book covers also changed.

@hbonser_02 There are a lot of Reddit forums and AG win you can check out for more info. Around the years 2002-2012 is when they got a little whacky with the transition dolls. Some you will see with a PC makes head and AG marked dresses. HTH!
