@bonniamanda ok the large is 30in and the XL is 32in........but that really doesn't reflect how they fit.......I wear a 29 and 30 and neither of them will even go past my upper thighs. I'm really curvy. I think if your a 6 you could wear either size......just get the smaller size if you want them tighter and the bigger size if you want them a little looser. If you have bigger hips and butt like me then you want the XL. You are smaller than me though because I wear mostly 10s. Hope this helps.
