The breast is 20" across actually, I was in a hurry. I will update the photos and move the coat into a lighter location. I did not stretch the coat to full length across, my apologies!

It would be 40 around.. But flat for a small, at Jcrew? Hard to believe. I have a Field Jacket I could check and I highly doubt that is 40" flat! You're talking Free people Territory! :)
