milliemartin3 @hannahcr222 Hi, thanks for asking! I'd say it's a mid-weight coat. It's 100% cotton. The cotton has a weight to it, and to me it feels substantial, but I don't know that I'd call it very heavy. If you live in a place that has cold winters though, this is more of a fall/spring coat. I weighed it and it looks be be about 2 lbs 3.7 oz, if that helps.
