100% silk. Double layer dress, complete with two zippers and two straps. First layer of the dress is a sage green silk crepe. Second layer is Hunter/olive green silk organza. Organza is pleated throughout the skirt and tacked down with a single row of stitching about 6 inches from the hem. Exposed seams throughout bodice give this dress an unusual (especially for Prada) yet elegant and almost deconstructed look. Purchased full retail so please now lowballs. Priced to sell.

Hi! Can you give me the measurements for this dress please?
dreshny
Hi! When you have a chance, I'd love to have the measurements for this dress. Thanks!
dreshny
Hi, is this still for sale? I am interested and would love the measurements, please.
pleated_silk
@dreshny so sorry for the delay in getting back to you! measurements, approx: bust 35”, waist 28”, hips 38” (flared skirt)
dreshny
@pleated_silk so that seems roomy for an xs. Would you agree with that? I generally wear a size 2. Are you willing to sell for the price you had it marked earlier?
yesi_posh
@pleated_silk good morning hannah I am a teeny bit concerned that the order I paid for and made on Wednesday will not be here on time as I had already kindly mentioned to you that I will be leaving the country.
pleated_silk
@dreshny it definitely fits true to size. those measurements are +/- 1 inch as i measured the outer layer and there is an entire inner dress with its own zipper to form the bodice. i am a true size xs. what are your measurements so that i can give you a better estimate?
pleated_silk
@yesi_posh i dropped it in the mailbox yesterday. there are sometimes delays with scanning from my city. what day are you leaving?
pleated_silk
@dreshny i will also add that the fabric has zero stretch and the style of the dress is not tight-fitting, at least on the outside. which is the beauty of the double layer...it allows there to be a snug, controlled fit without giving that creased sausage look on the outside. let me know if you’re interested. don’t hesitate to send an offer.

@pleated_silk ah, ok! I'm never sure how to measure myself, but my chest is about a 34B, my waist is 27-28, and I'm 5"3". I thought couture fit smaller--I'm a 2, but my wedding dress was couture and a 4. Does Prada run true to size? How long is the dress?
dreshny
And is the skirt is very A-line?
dreshny
And one more question! How delicate is the material? Am I going to be worried about it pulling or snagging? I'm looking for a dress for my oldest's son's bar mitzvah, but it's quite possible I'll be lifting my youngest, who will be not quite 5.

@dreshny i modeled the dress for you in a few better photos than i had listed. the actual waist is 25 or 26”. my measurements are 33” bust (would accommodate a C cup, I think, but looks great on my A cup as well), waist 24”, hips 30”. the material is actually not delicate. it’s silk organza on the outer layer which is really durable, with a softer silk that isn’t scratchy at all on the inside. it’s a bit of a flared skirt.

it’s really an amazing dress that i bought because of the color and fabric and have never had the occasion to wear it. i bought if for full retail. i really think you’ll love it!
pleated_silk
@dreshny Im 5’2”. I bet the waist would fit fine. it’s really hard to get an accurate measurement because the inner and outer layers are connected in some places. the zippers are very sturdy so i think you could wear it fitted and look fabulous

@dreshny total length from shoulder to hem is 39”. in my experience, prada runs true to size. i have another great prada dress in my closet that would also fit you. slightly more structured and fitted piece with a classic cut in navy.
dreshny
Hmmm. It doesn't look like I'd imagined. I need to give it some thought.
dreshny
I commented on another Prada dress that I really like. It's cotton, though, and hard to tell from the photo if it works for a dressy occasion.

Could you model it? Thank you in advance!
