This is an extremely rare collectors item. These t-shirts were meant to be sent to Disney Quest Philadelphia in 2000, but they were never sent because it closed down before they could be distributed. There are no tags because they never went on sale, but it is new, never worn. IF YOU LOWBALL ME, I WILL BLOCK YOU.

laurencfuji @torigirl561 If it’s Disney Quest or Club Disney then it’s very rare! Also depends on the condition though. Mine is priced how I think it should be based on collector status and mine is new as well.

laurencfuji @torigirl561 I actually don’t know a whole lot, my dad helped me because he worked at Disney and I just decided on a price point. I would say just price it however you feel is appropriate. I’ve sold a few of them. Or there are people whose job is to price vintage/antique items so I recommend contacting them

saucesailor Hi, I'm interested in this tee. Have you done a dry rot test? thx

laurencfuji @saucesailor Hello! I’m not sure what that is

saucesailor @laurencfuji Ok, no worries. Bare with me, here's an explenation: A lot of old "deadstock" black tees like this start to slowly degrade over time because they haven't been washed. Unfortunately the black dye that Disney (and many others) used becomes acidic and slowly eats away at the cotton. It's hard to detect dry rot, but you can often tell based off it's sheen in person.

laurencfuji @saucesailor Ahhhh I see! I’m sorry I don’t think I have the expertise to be able to tell. But yes they have never been washed. Just sitting in a box all these years

saucesailor @laurencfuji Here's how I test for it, and how I suggest you do: Find the bottom hem of the tee, pinch the fibers between your fingernails and attempt to rip the shirt. Tugging on it (even with a lot of force) will not rip a normal shirt, it will stretch. A dry rot tee won't stretch much and will just tear...It will feel almost like ripping paper. Google "ripping a dry rot shirt" for videos that show how easy they become to rip. If you're able to make a tiny rip by pulling this way, it has it.

thefunnybull Hi! I purchased one of these shirts last year. I was wondering if you could share any details how you found these shirts. There’s very limited info online about the canceled Disney quest locations. I saw that you said your dad used to work at Disney, was he involved with Disney’s regional entertainment division? Any info you could share would be awesome, thank you!

laurencfuji @thefunnybull Hello! My dad used to work at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. He just did IT for Disney until they outsourced years later. When they shut down Disney Quest they had a lot of merchandise left over that they offered to employees for super cheap, still in the package, that was never put out for sale. My dad bought a box & had them stored in our home for years until I got older. He gave them to me to try to sell. I hope this information is helpful!
