kcwilliams_ @egold777 i work in fine jewelry. If you look at an emerald cut it has more of an elongated side like a rectangle. The Asher cut has the corners cut almost exactly the same as the four sides creating more of a square. It is hard to tell with this one especially without having it in hand.
