This dress is much cuter than it photographed. I will try to post better pics later. The top is a silk look, but I was shocked when I read the tag that it is not. That's great as it will wear better, but absolutely looks like silk. The skirt is a linen/wool tweed. It has pockets in the skirt- yeah!!!! The skirt fits snugly at the hips and so the dress is very modern and not boxy as it photographs. The grosgrain detail adds a bit of that something special. It is a comfy dress that looks special.

mommydearest @jenj75 Hi Jennifer, The top, which as I mentioned looks like a washed silk, is polyester. The skirt is a linen/wool blend and the skirt has a polyester lining. Hope this helps. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

mommydearest @aoyama1018 My pleasure. Shoulders 18". Armpit to armpit 19". Sleeves 21" although maybe a bit longer if the shoulder drops on you. Band at hip or low hip depending on how you wear it, it can be worn straight,or if it hits you right, a bit higher on the hips allowing the top to blouse a bit- 19" Hem 20". Length back of neck to hem 31 3/4. Length of lower tweed skirt 12". All of that said I am a 2 and the 2 fit me on the roomier side of a 2. I am a big fan of Theory and love this dress and may still keep the 2 for myself, although I have a few too many in my closet compounded by my not going anywhere special these days! 😭
