As an avid knitter, merino wool is my go-to for sheep wool yarn. Not only does it have next-to-skin softness, but it’s quite durable as well. This very lightweight sweater was made in Italy of 100% merino wool. The sweater weighs next to nothing - you could mistake it for cotton - but will keep you warm when you need it and yet be livable when the day warms up some.
