lisa102503 @kristamarie95 It isn't .925 silver. Base metal is copper or brass with thin layer of gold over. It can oxidize and turn fingers green depending on an individual's personal chemistry. Best way to prevent the oxidation process is to keep metal (entire band) covered with clear nail polish. I wear a similar ring and keep it covered with polish and it looks like it's brand new and I've been wearing it for close to 6 months already!
