3southerncharms @carrolleb I am so sorry...I am just now seeing your question . We have had a busy day. Laying the dress flat, the waist measures approximately 17 inches. The material does not stretch. A belt would add to the dress and help with the fit at the waist if it’s needed. It really is a beautiful dress and is a great color. I love the bell sleeves!💖
