With these clothes on, my shoulders measured 42” and my hips measured 39”. • In a neutral stance, the medium fit and looked good but when I lifted my arms up, I could feel some tightness in the shoulders and when I would sit, the jacket would puff out at the belly. • The large, on the other hand, provided a roomy-yet-suitable fit but could also accommodate a person with larger measurements (or more layers of clothing). • Personally, given my measurements, if I were going to wear this jacket skiing, I would go for the large so that I could add more layers without any restriction in movement. However, if I were the type to only wear a t-shirt, or if I were going to use this jacket only casually (not for sport), then the medium could work as well. Why am I selling this? I purchased several jackets online for a last-minute trip to the arctic and neglected to return them before the return deadline.
