The pants easily convert to shorts with zippers. They offer Insect Shield technology which repels ticks, ants, mosquitos, flies, chiggers, midges - guaranteed to be remain effective for 70 washings. There are two side pockets, two back velcro pockets and a zippered phone pocket on the side leg. The leg cuffs have zippers for easy on/off boot action. The waist measures 32" and the inseam of the pants is 29" and the inseam of the shorts are 8-9".
