charlean_wit_it @brendatemple240 hello, the denim does have a slight new/crispness feel to it, but it’s not super rigid & does have a softness to it considering it has not been washed. After washing & wearing it, I believe this jacket will soften more over time. The jacket overall has a typical denim weight to it especially because of the size & the oversize style. The denim thickness is not as thick as my Madewell 100% denim jeans but it’s also not super thin like a cotton blend jean.

charlean_wit_it @brendatemple240 I live in FL & this jacket is a great Fall/Winter jacket layered. I’d wear it with a tank or shirt when warmer (& if going to like the movies or somewhere with cold AC). Hope this information helps. 🙂
