@hascall7 not sure I understand the question. The insole is cushioned as these shoes are ultra comfortable Made in Italy but flat throughout. It’s not a wedge where your heel is raised higher than the rest of the footbed. This is a regular superstar style, not hi-star.

@coveteur_eu that helps. I am confused because some golden goose styles say they have a removable insole and they make it sound like the heel is raised. Would you say the heel has extra height or is it even all around?

@hascall7 I’ve never tried to remove the insole for fear of ruining the shoe but I think you can as seen in other seller’s pics. The base of the shoe is thick so in that sense your foot is “raised” vs a flat Converse shoe. The heel is level with the rest of the foot.
