Beautiful brown-grey color (called "mouse"), with gold hardware that locks on every zipper, making this handbag extra secure! There is soft hair like material on the front (not sure what kind but this is definitely not a vegan purse). One small discoloration by the zipper from when this was shipped to me by Barney's New York.
