The coated plum color is more like a dark wine and is very festive. Pair with a black sweater or leather coat and you’re good to go to your holiday party! Very flattering on and hide the tummy pooch. I’m normally a 27 or 28 but got 28 in these because the coating makes them more stiff (and shaping). If you are in a bright light they look a little more burgundy but regular lighting look almost dark brown
