It was introduced in the US around 2018 and its beauty stands out with its light baby blue color. Golden Hill Turquoise is originally found in a deposit at the Altyn-Tyube mine in Kazakhstan. The unique color and being super rare, make Golden Hill one of the most-sought after turquoise in the world. This beauty is only mined during the winter while it is freezing cold and snowing. GHT can’t be mined during the summer because of the flooding that takes place. It is not an easy turquoise to attain due to factors that involve the environment and its locality.
