The boots may be warmer if I couple them with thicker socks. They fit as expected and still have plenty of room for thicker socks. I was looking for something that I could wear for the winter that wasn't a fashion boot, and that I could wear to work in the office. I also wanted something that wasn't suede or leather. This boot fit the bill! In all of the snow that NYC accumulated over this winter, I was able to walk through piles of snow and stand outside to clean my car off without my feet freezing. I had issues in the beginning with the top part of my foot feeling squished, but I was able to wear them and break them in and now they fit wonderfully. Great for all winter weather! I loved these boots! They are comfortable and so good on snow and ice! They also kept my feet warm and dry! I thought I would use for just snow days, but ended up wearing all during the winter to keep my feet warm! One of my favorite Amazon purchases!
