Bought this *beautiful* dress for my bridal shower but wore something else instead due to weather. I missed the return timeframe, otherwise I would have returned it back to the store. This Tadashi Shoji dress is *brand new* with ALL tags still on, including the black security tag they put on the designer gowns. The embroidery and the sheer layers are gorgeous. The cut is super flattering, especially the attached “belt” that’s stretchy so it defines your waist without grabbing too tight. The soft color makes it great for brides but it’s not pure white so it could work for other events, too. The sizing is consistent with other Tadashi dresses. I’d say this dress is a true 16. On someone who’s 5’3”, it falls a couple inches above my ankles with heels on. With the sheer layers, it moves beautifully when you walk. It’s been stored in my non-smoking, pet-free home in the original plastic. Purchased directly from the Bloomingdale’s flagship store in NYC. Dress retails for over $500 at Neiman Marcus and Saks.
