lmsinn @alisoniven thanks! but fabric itself still feels normal? once I bought something never worn but 20 yrs old and the fabric had sort of dried out and it stretched 2 sizes in a week. thank you- seriously considering purchasing which is why I'm asking.

alisoniven @lmsinn yes, everything feels normal. The knit is very tight despite its age and there's no signs of dry rot (which sounds like what happened in your previous purchase). The brand is known for their legacy of high quality hand knits that last for generations, and I don't anticipate this one being any different. It's really one of the nicest sweaters I've seen/felt and has a great weight and flow to the knit.
