pasha4202 @kathrynpatel499 No. It can be washed on a gentle cycle. I have never washed it because I never wore it. It is brand new with tag attached. I am attaching a picture of the care instructions in the listing as well so you can gain comfort about maintaining the dress prior to purchase.

Took a lot of washing for it to fade. Just want to be better prepared for next time, because I am obsessed with velvet clothing!
