@nightbird437 I'm still confused, I'm sorry! Are you referring to the top waistband? The bottom hem has no gathers, it is all straight. The waist band is straight as well, no elastic.

Hi the bottom hem was the question that the seam coming down the skirts to the bottom hem that they are stitched a bit more in in the front and back asking because I got a skirt and it is like that it can be released just checking if these two are like that also the second picture may show that a little more sewn in about 2 inches. Gives the skirt a weighted look.
