Delicate sterling silver handmade ring by Navajo artisans. Signed in script "Nakai," and stamped "C / Sterling." Features a green abalone cabochon (dyed, apparently) surrounded by silver braid and an asymmetrical grouping of leaf and three-dimensional squash blossom. The face measures 20mm x 24mm. The cabochon is coated with resin or acrylic that has some scratches. They are visible on close inspection but do not obstruct the view of the gem. Otherwise in lightly worn condition. This size 7.5 ring has a slender 1.5mm band, which may allow it to fit on a larger finger. In the photos above, it's on a size 8.25 finger (though I think it looks too small). This nicely balanced design was not unique but done in production. Weighs 4 grams.
