Nanamica Tropical Wool Trousers (32)

Nanamica don't make 'em like this anymore. Slim taper, I mean. A really graceful lightweight tropical wool/poly combo to get you through the hottest days when you can't be nude in front of a bowl of ice cubes and a fan blowing across your stomach. Truly, this material is the best: lightweight and airy without being cloying, they're almost better than shorts because their gossamer threads hang on you as if they were woven by Severus of Avranches himself (though obviously not: it's a mixed fiber textile!). Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and in my case, my rear end got too caked up. No longer will I enjoy the svelte taper (let's be real, it's a little 2015) or lightweight fabric, no longer will I have the seersucker waistband skirting or the fabric tape at the admittedly trim leg opening hanging weight. No more will I enjoy the mother of pearl button, the one flap and one jetted rear pockets. No, someone else will have to take this size 32 pair of pants off me and derive pleasure from the variegated plan weave fabric. Alas.
