VINTAGE Nancy Ann Fairytale Collection Doll WITH BOX , "Roses are Red Violets are Blue" #123. 1936-1947, WWII era. Tagline: Wee Dolls for Wee Collectors. San Francisco, CA Roses are Red Violets are Blue #123 is a small 5 1/2" tall collectible doll with an all plastic one piece body with movable head, arms and legs. Her eyes open when she is upright and close when she is supine. She has blonde wavy hair and is dressed in a lovely pink short sleeved satiny gown with darker pink roses and rosebuds. The gown is trimmed in dark pink ribbon at the waist and near the hem She wears a pink felt bonnet tied with a satin ribbon. She has white pantaloons and black, painted on strapless slippers. She is in good vintage condition with some yellow stains on her dress. There are no chips or cracks in the plastic. The enclosed leaflet is yellowed but without damage. Box is worn and discolored.
