You can sterilize with alcohol. Ask any MAC, Sephora or professional make up artist (like myself). So swatching and even wearing doesn't matter as long as you sterilize it after with a soaked tissue. Although a better way in the future is to scrap a little off with a sterile tool. Don't listen to that other girl lol!
