WALT HARRIS nicknamed 'Happy Indian Artist' has work in the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts in Washington. He served as a paratrooper in the United States Army 101st Airbourne Division in WWII. He also worked for The Ponca City Newspaper as a cartoonist and illustrator for 18 years. He painted "All at Once There Were No More" for Vice President Walter Mondale and his wife Joan. Walt Harris works are on display at the Heritage Marland Grand House in his hometown of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
