deer2wolf CHANTYES: hi, I have purchased a necklace through you after winning three Poshmark and you were kind enough to send me that beautiful labradorite as well. Thank you so much again. I'm trying to make more bracelets, but this time I don't want to use Sterling. I noticed you string together such Beauties and I have elastic. But no where do I see any not showing. If I'm not intruding can you tell me how it's done. Thanks Pamela

gemtribe @deer2wolf Of course, there’s always a knot. But if you hold the bracelet and pull one of the beads over the knot, rarely do you see it. Let me know if that makes sense:)

But they do not look very good when I finish. there are so many things I would love to purchase I just Stone able to. God bless you so much. peace always within you, thank so very much. Pamela.. i so adore your BEAUTIFUL LABRADORITE golift..**ring** so beautiful.

gemtribe @deer2wolf So glad you love your pieces. That’s my hope, always! But you’ve given me too much credit on the jewelry. I traveled the world and sourced gemstones, designed pieces and created an artisan co op to create my designs. And since then I’ve been just sourcing artisans with exotic gemstones, that’s my love affair and addiction! 🌿

deer2wolf I too have loved gemstones all my life, been making them stringing them together since I was 14 or 15. Now 62, it takes quite a bit of income to do so with Sterling that's why I wanted to try to switch over to elastic. Or perhaps using floss

gemtribe @deer2wolf They make a needle that it’s hard to describe… Basically looks like one needle but if you push on both ends it opens (like an eye shape). That way you can string your elastic in it without having to thread a needle. And it’s flexible so you can bend it through the gemstones. Including if you want to double or triple the string, you can keep going around and around through the gemstones.

gemtribe @deer2wolf Also, FYI. They make plastic thread now that is elastic and fairly long lasting. I would say the best resources a local bead shop.

gemtribe @deer2wolf I hope you don’t mind my sharing those thoughts. You’ve been the expert and doing this much longer than I....!

deer2wolf chantyes: All the info you are willing to pass along is so helpful. I really appreciate it! I've always strung together necklaces, BRACELES and used STERLING, using crimp beads. ofcoarse earrings are easy to make, always used Sterling... never receiving the amount of money I really should have for the items and time I put in, to make them. But, people want something for nothing! Thanks so much, you've been very helpful. And I truly appreciate it. Thanks so much. God bless, Pamela

deer2wolf the gemstone needle you referring to the has the opening, is it an opening at the end of the long needle. I used to use that type when I use liquid silver in the 70s. I have a feeling it's not. Thanks so much, Pamela

gemtribe @deer2wolf I hope I can explain it’s OK. It’s actually not an opening at the end of the needle. I’ve ordered those and I couldn’t get the stretchy plastic to go through it. The whole thing opens! So if you touch each end of this, 3 inch needle for example, it opens wide. Were you could put your finger through.

gemtribe @mikipho888 hi, this mother one is 7 1/2 inches. So should fit nicely. Depending on how small your wrist is.

gemtribe @pesennefelder I am so glad you wrote. Seriously perfect timing! I was just trying to figure out an answer to that question and I thought you were talking about a different bracelet. Let me check what I have left in this style…
