Navajo Mary & Richard T. Thomas Green Royston Turquoise Cuff Bracelet Sterling

Gorgeous natural green turquoise stones span this Navajo handmade cuff bracelet, from the j e Royston American turquoise mine, which produces some green as well as blue and green mixes. I worked with turquoise for many years and believe this is correct although similar stones have been found in Carico Lake and other mines. 51 grams total weight, so it has a little more heft than some of this style. Signed T and sterling. This hallmark is from Mary Thomas and Richard T. Thomas, Navajo silversmiths with many years of experience. You can find some other pieces of their excellent work online. An exact time of creation isn't known to me, but most likely from the early 2000s, so "almost" vintage :). The inner silver has a brighter spot where the original tags were, but of course it doesn't show when worn. Inside of bracelet measures 6 inches plus a 1 inch gap, so is made for a 7 inch wrist. Top is 1.25 inches wide. When the stones are on the curve like this it is very important to not bend the bracelet, so make sure a seven inch wrist will work for you! :) I do not polish silver items except for a light surface polish, because most people prefer the patina of age. If you do want a higher polish, never use silver dip on turquoise as it can ruin the stones, just a by the way!
