Navajo Style Natural Material & Silver Cross Necklace from LF Santa Monica

Long silver chain measures approx 19" from back of neck to bottom of cross. Cross itself is approx 3" tall. Beautiful condition, never worn. I could find no markings. Not sure what the material of the cross is? Looks like mother of pearl or carved bone?
