I can’t figure out the brand or makers mark on these earrings. I think it’s a name. The are matte gold squares with a silvertone star holding more matte gold squares. Clip earrings.

@smiley8hd would you happen to know the maker of these? You seem to have a lot of name brand clip that might be made around the same time.

@abatts These are super cute vintage earrings! Possibly from the 80's or 90's. Not sure on the designer, possibly Jarrett, but definitely collectible. Thanks so much!

Well, I was hoping to help but I’m at a loss as well. I can’t make out the writing at all. Have you tried adding some baby powder or cornstarch & then shaking off? Sometimes that helps me identify marks on pottery bases so it could possibly help on jewelry too? I don’t think that would damage the jewelry as long as you remove & clean thoroughly afterwards. I could be wrong so please research before trying should you decide to do so. They’re gorgeous btw. Good luck & please keep us posted

@luv_to_posh Thanks. I might try that. I’m hopping in my searching and looking at others people jewelry I’ll figure it out. Some times the marks are more legible on other pieces of jewelry. The funny thing is I have two sets of these. Thanks for looking. I love a good search.

There is a popular social media site that starts with F and ends with k(because Posh won’t let you say the name here!) group called All Jewelry Makers Mark Identification. Maybe try sending them the pictures and see if anyone there recognizes it.

@armario_d_helen Thanks. I’ll try that. It’s crazy. I think I now have 2-3 pairs of these because I’ve been buying and selling jewelry for 5 years. 🤣

NP. I love looking up Avon, premier designs and Sarah Coventry. Most people don’t know that barrel clasp is Avon. You knew. 🎉. Love your jewelry. With I was selling that quality. .

@abatts No way! Great information and I appreciate the help. I try to keep a mix of price range jewelry, but I get tempted too easily into more expensive pieces 😂 I got some help from my grandmas. They were both collectors and some pieces were from them. I source from different places locally and sometimes I get lucky and pick up quality pieces that are priced way below value. Thanks for the kind words, your closet is wonderful also! Excellent photos! I’ll keep the sharing going!

@armario_d_helen I hear ya. I do the same. Picked up Alex bittnar for $10-$20 each but it took two years to sell each at $100. I work at a thrift store so I try not to buy stuff to sell. Cause I work for free to get free stuff. But I picked up a few pieces at a consignment store that was having a half off sale. I do buy to resell from mecari if they are doing a listing promotion. But stuff takes awhile to sell. Promoted closet has helped a lot.
